• Current Visa - L2 (Valid till July 2019)
• Other Visa - H1 -B got picked up, petition is approved but Change of Status denied(Received I797B - Need to go outside country for PAI Interview and then get my visa status changed from L2 to H1)
• Duration of the H1-B Approved Petition - Oct 1st 2017 to Sept 2018
• I need to go to India in February for an urgent family medical issue and I’ll not get any more leaves after that to go to India for any visa stuffs.
1. I moved to a new work location on November 8th (H1-B LCA had my old work location) and I’m in the process of submitting for my amendment request.
2. Can I reapply for my COS to H1-B after coming back from India and submitting amendment then, because if I submit amendment now, I'll not get the approval notice which is required for the PAI interview?
3. If i reapply, will it go through the whole quota process again or it'll be outside quota process since my older petition was already approved?
