H1B Stamping when company got acquired

My H1B petition was picked in the lottery and it's been approved. But my company got acquired during the approval process. So,

1) Can I go for visa stamping with approval letter from my old company?

2) Should I wait for my employer to file a change of employer first, get approval for that and then go for visa stamping?

Which is a safe option to go with?
