New H1B (2016-2017), current status is "withdrawal acknowledgement notice was sent"

My H1B got selected in 2016 lottery.
Got RFE on Nov 2016.
My employer replied to RFE. I ask what is the RFE for he did not explain anything to me.
Jan 11 status change to "withdrawal acknowledgement notice was sent"
I am trying to contact him but he is not replying me at all.
Looks like they withdraw my H1B petition and this is end of the road for me.

Just wanted to know Can I save my H1B any how?

Can you update what happened after that? Was that a mistake by USCIS ?

My status changed to same withdrawal acknowledgement yesterday before sending RFE response. We still had enough time left to respond. Also HR & attorney no one raised a request to withdraw it.
