H1B Extension Filed and trying to move from H1B to H4
Hi Everyone,
My H1B expired on Jan 09, 2018. Extension filed and waiting for approval notice from USCIS. But my current assignment ending on Feb 15 and i will be terminated on Feb 16th from my employer if i dont get next assignment before Feb 15. Please suggest on how to proceed my below options.
In case if i dont get assignment before Feb 15th,
1. Can i stay in US from Feb 16th with H1B extension filed receipt notice?
2. If NOT, what is the advisable date to initiate my H1b to H4 ?
3. Will my H1B revoked, once my H4 filed?
4. If i initiated H4 before Feb 15, can i request USCIS to cancelling the process of H1 to H4 , if i get any assignment in between?
