Should I travel while waiting for my H1B approval while on H4 visa

I am currently on a h4 visa and have vaild EAD till July 2019. In light of the current events my firm has decided to apply for a H1B visa for me. As you know this will happen in April but during this process I need to travel for a weeding to Spain. Should make the travel, or is it too risky.
