I94 expired, h1b extension documents reached a day after expiry

Employer A was holding my H1B visa and did not apply for an Extension so i transferred it to Employer B.
But my H1B Visa & I94 got expired on Nov 20th 2017, but the documents for H1B transfer and extension of I94 reached USCIS only a day after I94 expiry(Nov 21st)and I got the receipt notice “CASE RECEIVED”too.
1. I’m i legal to stay in US ? as USCIS received my documents on Nov 14th though employer sent it on the last day of expiry ie., Nov13th.
2. Is there any Grace period available for me ?
3. What preparations has to be made now, please suggest.

You would be fine. Just wait for the approval. If you get RFE, you would have to deal with it at that time.

I'm in the same boat, my H1B extension reached a day after my i94 expired. Do you have the result on your case yet? Would it be possible for the USCIS to overlook the one day delay?
