H1b first time stamping ,60k pay mechnaical engineer

Hi,

I did my masters in mechanical engineering and working as a FTE for an manufacturing company and got my h1b approved.Planning to visit INDIA in march 2018,my only issue is im getting a pay of 60kUSD/year,does any one attended interview with 60k recently?any suggestions would be much appreciated.Thanks in advance.
