Can apply I140 even if we are outside US with expired H1B.?
Hi,
I am having valid H1B and it will be expiring on July 2019 (1 more year available max out) and my employer is going to start my I140 process. But, now i got a oppurtunity to go to other country for another assignment for next 3 years under the same employer. When I have been outside US, my H1 will get expired and I140 may get approved.
If so, once I completed the 3 year assignment, shall I apply for the Visa extension (after expired) from India and can use of the I-140.?
