Clock reset l1 to h1

I could not find any answers to my question that?s why I am posting it here so other may get benefited if this is a new question.

1. Entered USA on l1 visa and stayed for 1 year
2. Went back to India for 1.8 years for good
3. Came back on same l1 visa before it expires
4. After 1 year applied and got selected in h1 lottery under cap while in US on l1 visa and moved to h1
5. How the clock reset will work? Will I get my original 1 year back which is mentioned In step 1?

If it was L1B, then your combined validity is 6 yrs. So, you would have used up 1 yr (from your item 1) + 1 yr (time in L1 before H1) + however long you have been on H1 to date. This sum can at most be 6yrs.
