I am in H1B Visa valid till Oct19 came from India with the Receipt notice and H1B stamped Visa. From the day, i have entered in US May 17. I am still with the same H1B employer till date from the day of Visa stamping to till date. Now, I got RFE for H1B amendement when project/client change happended. My spouse is in India now. She is yet to for Visa stamping in next month in India.
Current status : My H1B amendement is RFE but i do have valid visa holds till Oct 19. My spouse is going for stamping for H4 Visa in India. She is appearning for H4 Visa in India at US consultate. Does US consultate will Issue H4 Visa when prime Applicant H1B is having valid Visa but H1B amendement is RFE (not employer change and not visa extension) ? What are the chances of getting H4 Visa for Spouse and two children?
