Receipt Date Duration

Hello All,
How long it is taking for getting the receipt number from USCIS? My H1 was filed on 12th of May and I have not got my receipt number till now? Any idea how long it may take. Also after getting the receipt number how long it may take for the approval? Mine is under regular processing.

Is anyone in the same boat as me. Please do let me know. I am slightly worried now as I had no communication after 12th of May.

Usuall it will take between two -three weeks (business days).. so dont worry about it, you will soon get approved.

Hi,

After you file your application with USCIS it takes 10 to 15 working days to get receipt number...

Once you recieve receipt number it takes 4 to 6 weeks to get H1 petition..
