Wrong city for consular processing
Hi,
I entered the US with B1 visa about four months ago to interview for a job with a university, and finally, they offered a job and had applied for the H1B visa for me. I am still in the US, and I chose the Toronto, Canada for consular processing (to get a stamp after approval). My application has not been approved yet. However, I noticed lately that visa appointment waiting time is very long (about two months) in Toronto, and I don't want to wait two more months to get visa stamp after my petition approved.
Do I have to go to the Toronto for getting the stamp in any case, or can I go to another city in Canada or any other country? So, is it possible to change the city for consular processing after approval without cause any delay? For example, visa appointment waiting time is only one day in Frankfurt.
I will appreciate if somebody response my question.
