H1 amendment with reduced validity backdated expiry

My original stamped visa was valid till 12/21/2018 but amendment was filed in Oct 2017 as I have to change the location and client.

I received my amendment petition with notice date : 04/18/2018

The validity of approval notice is: 03/31/2018

I94 is valid until: 04/10/2018

1. Am i out of status?

2. Can I go to old location and work from there? Do i have to leave US for that

3. Can I get visa status converted to H4 status as my husband has a valid approval notice till 08/22/2018

2. No you cannot go back to the old place and work
3. There is a good chance that your COS petition will be denied. However, you can travel outside the US, get a H4 visa stamped in your passport and re-enter.
