H1B Drop Box Experience - Chennai

Mine is a drop box option at Chennai VISA application center
Documents needed:
1. Interview Waiver letter
2. DS-160 (all applicants )
3. I-797 (Previous and current) for Primary applicant alone
4. Photo as per US VISA specification

Timelines:
May 21 - Around 2 PM - Submitted the documents
May 22 - Case/Application Received
May 23 - Status changed to Administrative Processing
May 24 - Status changed to Issued.
May 25 - Received stamped Passports.

I do have plan for re stamping at chennain consulate. Can you please let me know the process for Dropbox. I do have valid extension and transfer.

Do you think which option is better Dropbox or PA now a days?
