Working on H1b, need to get Student Visa
hi,
I am currently working on H1b visa which is valid for 3 years. I have not yet applied for any extension for the H1b visa.
I want to do my MS in Computer Science and would require a student visa for it. Would this student visa be independent of my H1b visa?
Is there any invalidation or anything for my H1b visa when I leave my Job in US and do my MS for next 2 years?
Does doing full time MS from an educational institute for 2 years imply that i am losing 2 years (out of the maximum 6 years) from my H1b visa?
What would happen after MS - do i have to extend my existing H1b visa that time or apply for a new H1b visa or just revalidate this H1b visa for my new employer (after i have done MS)?
I am really confused right now whether i should go ahead and do my MS or not and its implications on my current H1b visa.... ANY INFORMATION IN THIS REGARD WOULD BE IMMENSELY USEFUL!
