H1b petetion approved but i don't want to go ahead with it...
Hi,
My H1b petetion has been approved by an employer in US. However i have not taken an appointment with the US embassy till now to get my H1b Visa stamping/interview.
I have decided to go to US for studies (on a student visa) instead of going there to work on H1b Visa.
Would the approval of H1b petetion affect me in any adverse way for getting the Student Visa? Will they have any records/questions about my H1b petetion being approved but i not applying for H1b Visa?
Is there a rule that i Must apply for H1B visa if my H1b petetion is approved by the US employer?
