Can someone urgently help me out with my situation...
I have an offer from Company B, whose job requirement is a BS degree. They apparently say that they cannot apply for a H-1B as the general quota is over. But since I have a Master's degree, I told them that we have to apply in the Master's quota which is still open. But the HR, tell me now that they cannot do that as there might be a problem with the Green Card processing as the job requirement is a BS degree. I am totally confused here, and unable to figure out what exactly is the problem when I am infact eligible for the Master's quota.
In the worst case scenario, I am thinking I can go in for a H-1B transfer as Company A has already applied for one.
Can somebody pls explain what (if any) is the problem here??
