Can spouse apply for H4 extension within US if admitted as parole status?

I have I-140 and I-485 pending. Spouse entered US under parole status valid till December 2018, both H1 and H4 visa has expired a month ago.
Applied for h1 extension and is pending for a month but did not apply for h4 extention.

Can spouse apply for h4 extention after approval of H1B extension within US?
If I-I-140 and I-485 is still pending can spouse reapply for parole status extension?
