Hi,
I am working for company X on L1.
I applied for H1 through a consultant and got a receipt. This is regular H1 (without COS)
Now, what's the procedure to get the status changed to H1 . Once I get H1 approval from Oct1 2006, can I start working on H1. (By just applying for a COS) ??
Or, Do I need to wait till the status change gets approved ?? How long this procedure will take.
