Pending H4 EAD. H1B renewal coming soon. Concurrent H4 EAD filing? Urgent Query.
Hi Friends,
My notice date for H4 EAD is May 17, 2018. As of today, my application still shows as 'Case was Received' & no further updates. I have also opened a service request with USCIS asking for status since its been over 90 days.
I have following questions:
My husband's H1-B renewal is coming up & his company will be filing for his renewal in Premium Processing. I have seen multiple posts online that people have received their H4 EAD card within 15 days if filed together with H1B renewal.
Can I file for a NEW application for my H4 EAD along with my husband's H1B renewal? Does this cause any duplication issue since I have already have a pending application with USCIS?
The issue is that I don't want to wait for my current EAD card anymore as its taking really long. I am afraid that H4 EAD rule might be revoked if I wait too long.
