Travel outside USA during H1B Amendment

I have a valid H1B Visa till December 2019. I was with a certain employer and working for Client 'A'. I am expected to relocate to a new location and start working for a new client 'B' (still employed with the same employer). I had to travel outside of the United States due to a medical emergency and I am still outside the US. My LCA has been filed currently and it will get certified next week. After this, my amendment will be filed with USCIS (which will have my I94 details). Given this scenario, is it safe for me to enter the US now? Or with the generation of a new i94 number create a problem in my amendment petition process?
