H1B Name Transfer and Visa Extension

Hi There,

I got H1B and stayed in USA for 2.5 years and returned back to India on March.30.2018 and my Visa got expired on March.31.2018.


Now (Sep.17.2018) I changed my company in India.

So now is it possible to transfer my H1B to new employer and also extend my Visa? if yes how much time it may required and what is the process.

So now is it possible to transfer my H1B to new employer <-- Yes. Since you only stayed 2.5 Years, you havent exausted 6 years of your H1B. You can transfer H1B to another employer.
and also extend my Visa? <-- Yes you can extended it
if yes how much time it may required and what is the process. <-- Time depends on whether you are planning to go for premium processing or regular processing. Processing will be same as earlier H1B processing. The only difference is you dont need to go through lottery. You are Cap Exempt. Since you are in India, once extension is approved, you have to go for Visa stamping.
