I got my h1b approval and now have a visa, will move to the US soon. I submitted my resignation letter to my employer in my home country.
Because I had not used up my (paid) annual leave, my resignation is effective at a later date (the days equivalent to my paid leave).
Approval date has already passed, so I can enter the US anytime and start working.
Say, I enter the US Jan 15th and start working, but I am on paid leave in my home country's company until Feb 15th.
One month overlap.
Would it legal in the US? Would I be violating h1b rules? If illegal, I wouldn't want to do that.
Please advise.
Thanks!
