Drop box visa issue

I have applied for visa extension through drop box on Dec 26th 2018.Till date status is showing as Application Received.
Anyone applied recently drop box visa extension at Hyd consulate.Could anyone plz help me out how long does it take to issue the VISA.

I have submitted on Dec 14th and status changed to application received on Dec 31st.

Below is the latest update on my case.

In this site http://www.ustraveldocs.com/in/in-niv-passporttrack.asp when I track with my passport number it is showing as There is no status update available for the passport number submitted.

We dropped my wife and kids passports via dropbox for extension/stamping on 12/28, status changed to application received on 1/3, changed to Admin processing for my kids on 1/8 but for my wife it's still showing as application received. I am assuming this is all due to the partial US government shutdown. Not sure what's going on otherwise.

I applied in Dec 3rd for 1st extension through drop box , us consulate sent an email requesting for personal interview/ fingerprints . Attended interview on Dec 28th, visa approved at the counter - however online visa status still shows AP since Dec 28 2018!
