  • working in A in india. applied h1b thru B of USA. now want to shift to C in india

    hi frnds,

i am working in A in india. i have applied H1B thru B of US saying that i am working in A.
i received EAC. now i want to change to C in india in same consular region.
does it cause any problem for H1B?
do they ask any docs from currrent employer A in visa interview?

    pls help,
    thanking you in anticipation.

i think relieving letter is enough

    as per my knowledge,
if u have the relieving letter from A and appointment/pay slips from C , it shouldnt create any problem.

while filling DS156, you must mention current employer as C.
when i applied for stamping after two 221gs, i already changed my employer.

Anyway get inputs from others too..

not a good idea to say A as current employer

it's a not a good idea to give false information like u still work with A.
because, just in case, (not happens for everyone, only when they suspect the experience at worst case) ,if they try to contact ur current employer, then u might end up with problems..

Usually for current employer following are required
        1. Appointment letter
        2. pay stubs
        3. inside/outside photos
        4. references (work telephone numbers)
verify with consualte site for further.

for previous employers , relieving letter & references are required.

if you could not get relieving letter, probably u could check for other options to prove that u really worked for A.
I dont know whether anbody has done it. But as u r genuine, u can very well prove if asked,
If there is 0% chance to get A's reliving letter, then try to get some notarized letter from your ex-co worker or manager .. i hope it should work.

anyway check with experts comments on this . u can post ur queries to some Attorney who give free answers at website.
