visa stamping plz advice!!!!

Hello Guys,
I need some help and advice from you guys, i hope i wont be disappointed.

I need to do my H1 stamping so here are my details in brief -

I came to US on F1 visa and after completing my MS in (may 04) i got a job offer which i took.
My H1 started in Oct04. And till date i have not stamped my H1 visa on passport. I have changed
my job twice and since now i can get some time off from work i was planning to get the stamping done.

I was planning on going to Canada. Is it safer in my case to goto Canada ( Toronto) or i
should goto India (Mumbai) and get it stamped over there.


I have seen a lot of advice from you guys in this forum.

I finally made up my mind of going to Mumbai for stamping.......

Am i taking a right decision or not please advice, also if anyone had good / bad experience at mumbai please let me know...
i am kinda really tensed about all this process....

You should be able to obtain your stamping from Caligary or Toronto. Make sure that your papers are in perfect order

Thanks for the reply.
I have made up my mind of going to Mumbai for the stamping. I am just worried as will there be any problems...also, if they put in 221(g) then is there something like time required to clear 221(g) in canada is much faster then compared to India.

Also, in DS-156, where it says, immigration petition filed on your behalf?
Should i fill in as yes, since my perm labor has been approved...
