H4 and H1 query

Dear Immihelp,

I am having valid B1 , Recently I have visited USA to my client place(official visit) and returned back to india.

My Husband is working in USA(H1 status).

I am working in india- My Indian company filed H1 for me and I got the LIN number also(filed date: May 6th 2006).

Shall I apply for H4 Visa(If yes what I have to fill in DS156: column:36. Has Anyone Ever Filed an Immigrant Visa Petiton on Your Behalf ? If yes,Who?

and what are chances of getting H4 visa.

Please help me on this.

I think it is a wiser option to wait till your H1B approval and then travel on your own H1b to US rather than the H4 and then convert legal status.
