Guys is it possible and advisible to book an interview date before H1 petition approval????

yes u can

based on lin number before of approval u can book the appointment dates

From my personal experience, you cannot book an appointment without the approval.

There are 3 parts to the application S-156, DS-157 and Petition Details.

In Petition Details you are required to provide your Petition No, Petioner Name and the Petition Expiry Date. Petition Expiry Date is available only when you receive the approval notice (unless there is any other way that I'm not aware of).

If anyone knows how to file the application with the Petition Expiry Date, please do let me know.
