  • Hi B supporting Documents

    Hi all,

I am working in a s/w company for 4 months and I have signed a 2 years bond. My H1 B is filed by a US company...I have seen in the H1 B document section - One of the supporting documents is My original degree certificates....but I have submitted my original certificates (10th 12th degree) to my employer....

What can I do now. Is it mandatory that I have to submit the Original documents at the time of interview or is it acceptable that I submit the notorised copy and a letter from my employer stating that they have the original certificate (I have this letter).

    Please help
    Thanks

    Get the duplicate certificates

    Hi,
    The best way is this:

Try to register an FIR with a local police that you have lost your certificates somewhere while travelling.Go to the university and apply for duplicate certificates and tell the consulate ,while attending the personal interview, that you have lost your certificates and give them the proof of FIR.

This is the best way in your case.If you say that ur employer has retained ur originals, then consulate will drive ur case for AAP and you are gone.

    Dont fish in troubled waters.

    Cheers

Request your employer/HR for the certificates... (dont give them the clue reg ur interview, say some thing like you need them for loan processing or something so) most of the time... it will work..
