**** URGENT...H4 Issue...Kindly Suggest ****

Hi,

I am holding H1 visa which is valid upto Dec, 2007.
But my passport is getting expired on Nov, 2006. For this reason I got my I-94 validity upto Nov, 2006. And I got appointment for my family-H4 on 7th Aug 2006.

Will the above mentioned situation creates any problem in getting H4 visa to my family ?? Or is it compulsary to get my new passport with extended I-94 first ??

Your dependant can apply with your existing paperwork. By the time they go for their visa interview if you have filed for the extension of your legal status, then you can provide them with th epaperwork for the same. All the Best.
