Hi,
My wife is planning to go to India and she needs to get stamped before she comes back to US. My current H1 is going to expire in september and I've applied for an extension. I've scheduled an appointment for my wife in Nov at chennai consulate with the expiring H1 receipt no. I would get my new H1 probably next month(aug or sept). Do I have to schedule the appointment again with the new H1 receipt no. as there is no way to edit the existing current appointment.
My question is : Can my wife go to consulate interview with the existing appointment and give them the new H1 receipt no.
