Regarding BEP - really urgent

Hello all,

I got an offer from an US company which is different from my current company in india. The US company which sponsered my H1-B to schedule an appointment with the chennai consulate myself. I took the DD and scheduled interview at chennai consulate, the website asked me whther u r BEP user or not?, i relied "no". will that be ok?

PS: i dont know whether the US company which has a small presence in india also is a BEP company or not?
Also, I am going to directly join the US branch and not through their India branch office.
