an alphabet of my name wrongly spelt in the receipt

My h1 b papers have been filed, and i have also finilized my stamping date,

recently, i requested my employer in the US to send a receipt of my

petition, when i saw it, i found out that an alphabet of my surname is

wrongly spelt, will there be any problem ?

i have informed them, but i am worried, when should my name be

corrected? should it be done at this stage or later ?

I would suggest, get it done.

I think, if at all, arises any kind of issue, you can solve it by explaining it and also by providing proofs of the same. But, why to go through all those headachs every time?

I had a similar prob with my last name, which I found after I got my approval. I informed my employer and they applied for correction and received a new approval document. I always keep both of them with me while leaving/entering the country.
