Place of stamping on Approval notice

Hey all..
Have heard from people that their H1 approval says the place of stamping.
I got the H1 797 Approval and it doesnt mention any place of stamping...Wot am I missing here??
Any help would be appreciated...Thanx in advance

hmmm...not quite possible

please recheck...while filing ur petition ur attornery/employer must select a consulate for processing your visa..if no consulate has been mentioned (erroneously, whcih is quite possible coz sometimes uscis can b a pain in the back sid)...if this is the case...it depends..where in teh world are u? if in india, go to ur nearest consulate (provided u've been a resident of that consular district for atleast 6 months)..if in USA, u can either go to canada or mexico for stamping..or preferrably ur home country (whichever that is)..
