Hello, I am really impressed with the threads in this forum. Hope to get some solutions to my misery. Here it is...
My situation: Currently working in California, got the H1B petition approved, starting date is 1st of October. My OPT expired on july 15th, currently residing here on the 2 months grace period, which ends on 15th sept.
Querry: do i have to leave the country once the grace period expires?
Situation 2: got a DUI on my record..
Querry: Not sure what to say on the form (Yes or No).. If i say yes, then what will happen.. really worried.
Situation 3: Could'nt get an early appointment, got one for december. My boss wants me to resume work in October (starting date for my H1b).
Querry: can i schedule an emergency appointment, saying that i need to get back to work in October? or should i go to Mexico for stamping, stay there for two weeks, or fly to India from there? Not sure how stamping in Mexico would affect my case.
