I need your urgent and expert opinion on this troubling issue.
I'm currently in L1-B working for company 'A'. I have got my H1-B approved from another company 'B' which is effective from Oct 1st, 2006. I talked to my current employer (A) today and they are ready to relieve on Sept 15,2005 itself. My questions are ..
(1) Am I considered out of status from Sept 16 to Sept 30, till my H1-B becomes effective ?
(2) If I resign from company 'A' on Sept 15, will my L1-B becomes invalid immediately ?
(3) Can I go for an "Unpaid Leave" during this period and ask for last date of employment as Sept 30, 2006 ?
Please answer to this query urgently. I'm in a big confusion.
