Hello Friends,
I have applied for H1b my interview is scheduled this month.
i am basically from computer science background working as a s/w Engineer for ABC company.
i recently got married,my husband is an GreenCard Holder.My husband did not sponser me
i got it through some other company VO might very well know that i am joining my husband.will i face problems
regarding this.

I have some clarification regarding this
if VO questions me what should I reply
1)How long will u stay in USA
2)Where will u stay in USA
3)y cant ur husband sponser u
4)After ur project gets over will u return back to India
5)u have applied H1B just to join ur husband

If anybody of u have faced these kind of situation please reply me.

---- Until the validity period of I-797 (H1 approval notice)

2)Where will u stay in USA

---- If you are joining your husband you will be staying with your husband and that will be your address of stay

3)y cant ur husband sponser u

---- You are applying for a H1 visa to come and work in US and not for a visa to join your husband (in which case it is a totally different process)

4)After ur project gets over will u return back to India

---- That is totally upto you, the employer, your husband and host of other factors that you are interested in

5)u have applied H1B just to join ur husband

---- This is not a valid question (for responses refer to Q 2 and 3)

I have one more doubt my company is providing me all facilities for staying in US,
if VO asks me
1) will u stay with ur husband or with ur company sponsoring u
2)should i convience them that i will be back to India,since VO very well know that since husband is greencard holder i wont be having intention in coming to India.what should i reply ?please give me positive answer.

---- You have to ask yourself this question. Are you going to stay with your husband whom you married and go to the job daily and leasd ahappy married life or stay with the company sponsoring as you want to do a job

2)should i convience them that i will be back to India,since VO very well know that since husband is greencard holder i wont be having intention in coming to India.what should i reply ?please give me positive answer

---- When you are applying for a H1 visa the intention is dual intent i.e. you are going to do a job in US and possibly apply for a green card in the course of time. However, if you do not want to apply for a GC you can always return back to your home country after the mandated 6 year period of stay.

Nevertheless, as you are going to stay with your husband you will be applying for a change of status (we assume that since your husband is a GC holder)
