query on visa date booking

Hi,

i had booked a date for interview at chennai consulate by taking the HDFC bank receipt. i had to cancel my appointment once and re-book an appointment as there were some mistakes in the DS forms.

now if i want to prepone my appointment date i have to cancel the existing appointment and book it afresh. but since i had already cancelled my appointment once i cannot book a new appointment till 60 days as per the instructions given at vfs-usa.co.in. i can always reschedule my date with the given HDFC receipt.

my query is can i take a new HDFC bank receipt and book an earlier interview date eventhough i have an interview date which was taken with the former HDFC receipt.

To put it in shor can i book 2 dates by taking 2 receipts.

please give your valuable suggestions on this.

---- You may not be permitted to take 2 dates as the appointment is linked to your Passport number, name and other details as filled by you and thereby the site will disable you if you book 2 appointments, or at 2 different US Consulates (within India)

---- You may obtian 2 HDFC receipts but then again HDFC should question you why. The only other condition will be when you loose your receipt for which you have to give a declaration to HDFC and they will disable the previous receipt.
