Hello Friends

I am on H1B and getting married in December. I had a few questions
1. Does my wife need to change her last name on the passport and add my name as husband?

2. For visa appoint what should be the marital status in DS-156?

3. My wife's family has filed an immigration application through one of her relatives and the status is still pending. Does she need to mention that in DS-156 and will that affect her chances in anyways?

yes, (it is simple process, search in this forum for details)

Married (hope you are going for interview after marriage)
