Can anyone help me?
I came to US 2 years ago with a J1 - D/S (duration of status). My visa expired in October of 2004. This year I started applying for a h1b. USCIS approved my h1b with a cap exemption due to ties with an institution of higher education. On my I-129 I addmited that I'm out of status. How are my chances to get the visa at the consulate? I'm affraid that even though my h1b was approved here, it will be denied in Krakow (Poland) or at the port of entry. Help!!!! Is there anything that could save me?
