Hi !!! H1B Interview scheduled but Suddenly Holiday Declared

Hi !!
Would appreciate if someone can help me around in this..I scheduled my H1B interview on Oct 13th 2006 at Chennai but suddenly the govt has declared local elections on the same day and it will be a holiday. Now what will happen to the interview i have scheduled.....do i need to reschedule my interview or consultae themselves will let us know regarding this....i have already rescheduled once from 4 th March 2007 to Oct 13th 2006. Can i cancel and then schedule the interview.In that case will my HDFC recpt will hold good...

I think the consulate will work eventhough the TN govt declared holiday. They will have their list of holidays. So, don't worry. But, better to confirm by calling the Embassy.
