My H1b was filed when I was in valid F1 status and I went out of status on Sept 4th(including the 60 days grace period). Now the INS has sent a notice asking for my current valid status. My company has sent a reply saying that my H1B was filed while in status and waiting for approval. Since I am out of status should I leave the country immediately or should I wait till they approve my H1.
