h1b transfer : personal question

I have been working with company X and I got my transfer approved for company Y. I would like to know how long I should be working with company Y to apply for a H1B transfer to another company Z?

Also how many pay stubs from company Y will I need before I apply for a transfer to company Z. If for instance I join company Y on oct 1 and go out of the country for a month and come back and apply for a transfer to company Z, will there be problems because I have taken a vacation and have only one pay stub?

I would suggest that if you never worked for company y then though you have a valid petition, you can apply for a transfer from X to Z, because you need to produce atleast 1 previous pay check. Sometimes transfer petitions are even approved with our a previous pay stub if co. Z is a big name
