I had been to the chennai consulate for H1 B visa stamping, but was issued 221 G (blue form) by the consulate officer.
In fact the consulate officer collected all my H1B related artifacts(except passport) and said it requires additional administrative processing.
In a weeks time I recieved another 221 G through courier requesting for more employer and client specific details.They had asked to drop the requested documents in the drop box.
I discussed the same with my H1 sponsorer/ employer . He says that he would directly handle the case with the Chennai consulate by interacting with the Attorney. I expected the H1 sponsorer would send me the artifacts and ask me to drop in the drop box.
I would like to know if anyone faced an instance where in the H1 sponsorer/employer sought an Attorney's help to submit the required documents in the consulate?
