Seniors Please Respond - SSN Application

Hello~

I currently live in Chicago and my wife is employed in Des Moines, Iowa. She needs to apply for a SSN.

She will be filing an SSN application at Des Moines, Iowa. Can she put the "Address" as my address in Chicago, or does she have to put a Des Moines address. She currently does not have an address at Des Moines as yet.

Please suggest if the address can be my address in Chicago?

Where is your wife staying? She can give any address for the SSN application. i.e. even she could give her hotel address.

About giving your Chicago address, I am not sure.
