Please help me, I am desperate!!

I sent in my application on APRIL 26th for regular processing for an H1B visa from an F1. They have a receipt date of May 9th. However I have not heard anything since then. My OPT expired September 5th, and the grace period goes on till November 4th. On Friday the 29th September, I sent in my papers and check for Premium Processing. However, even though its been only 2-3 days, I havent received any new EAC number from them. My question is will I hear from then before October 19th if I applied September 29th? My lawyer says she has always had premium processing requests seen to in the 15 day time frams, but I'm still scared. October 19th is 15 days after I submitted my application...so I should know...right?
Your thoughts please.....

I am also in a similar situation. My petition was received on June 1. Its been 4 months and haven't heard anything from them yet. My OPT expires in Jan. I don't know what is delaying them so much.

Hopefully you will get to hear from them sooner now that you are on premium processing list. Good luck !

15 days?

I sent in my application on Sept 29th...the 15 days ends next Friday, October 13th. Next week is a really short week with Monday being a holiday. Will I still hear from them by October 13th?? Please reply someone. You dont know how much it will mean to me.

I filed for PP on Sept 29th. All I have to prove it is the FED EX tracking number. The USCIS says they dont have my application for PP yet. From this forum I read one guys post who got an approval without a receipt number, another guy got his receipt number on the 13th day, etc. I am scared. The Check has not been cashed either and today is day 13. 2 more days left. I am concerned because my OPT grace period ends November 4th and I have read from these forums that they make you leave the country to get it stamped. Do you think I should hear by November 4th. MY original form has a receipt date of May 9th, and my PP form was sent (fed ex) on Sept 29th. So by November 4th I should hear right?? SOmone who knows please send me your reply. Your reply will help a great deal, so please reply with your thoughts.
