Hi,
I am currently on H1 B for company A. My wife was here on H4 for some time and is currently out of US on vacation. She recently got her visa stamped with validity till April 2007.
Now I want to change employer to B. B has filed for my H1 transfer.
When I asked them about tranfer of my wife's H4 visa, they say it is not required if she is coming back by April 2007.
For her to come after April 2007, they say I need to send her my visa approval papers and she needs to take an appointment with US consulate so that she can get a new h4 visa stamping. They say that there is nothing that needs to be done here interms of applying for a H4 extension or transfer.
Is it how the process works for h4 transfers.
Would appreciate if some one can respond.
