H1 stamping - no W2- 4 months gap before start working on H1.

Hi all,

Thanks to all of you for always helping with suggestions. I am looking for an answer to my scenario, pls help me with some sugestion that u can. I am in US goin to india fr H1 stamping in Dec. I entered US on H4 in March 2005, got approved H1 on Nov 2005, but got client project only from March 2006. So from Nov2005-Feb 2006 4 months i dint get paid and dint have any SSN then, and no W2 for year 2005. Now someone said it might be problem during stamping as I wont have any W2 but will have 9 months continuous pay stubs from March 2006-Nov 2006. I want to know in such scenario, when the VO asks for W2 or asks what I was doing frm Nov to Feb fr 4 months, what should i answer ? It seems even fi on bench, company should pay, but my company dint pay. So what should be my answer to their question of 4 months gap ? Pls pls help me with thsi question as i am really in delimna.
