  • Urgent: H1B,How to show my experience?

    Hi all,

My H1B papers are approved, my visa appointment is scheduled next week.

The problem is I worked in a Company YYYY from March2003 to August2005, and in May2006, the company YYYY is taken over by another company YYY, now the company YYYY is shifted to a new location, the old phone nos are not working now, and it has no identity of itself, all the employees of company YYYY are with the new company YYY.

1.Now which company should I mention in the DS-156 form.

2.Do I need to take a fresh experience letter with the new company YYY,
stating that he was an employee of the company before take over, If
needed can any one of you suggest the format in which I should take the
    letter.

3.How should I explain this to the VO during my interview.

I'am in desperate need of your suggestions, as my interview is scheduled in chennai next week.

    Please respond.

    Thanks in advance

    Rohan.

    Hi Rohan

Actually u dont need to take any docs fromco YYY saying that they have taken over company ZZZ.

if the VO ask u about that u can tell them what happend to co ZZZ.

still, if u want to be on safer side i will suggest you just take a new exp/appointment letter from co YYY stating that ur current job is just the continuation form ur old co.

    e.g.
Ask then to add following section in ur offer letter

    "ontinuity of service"
As a part of understanind beteen co YYYY and co YYY Mr .... 's service with co YYYY is continuied with co YYY.
He will be treated as on board from .... (date of joining co ZZZ)

    Thats all
