H1 extension with labor approved

Hi,
My H1 expires 31 Dec. 06 I have approved labor and will be filing for I 140 next week.
My questions are
what papers do I need to file for h1 extension as my six years expire in Aug next year
Can I apply for extension for beyond Aug 07
How can I reclaim the time spent outside the US, I have spend about two months outside US.

Appreciate any help in this regards.
I have to file my H1 extension next week positively as the boss is leaving for the rest of the month.

---- The same papers you have used to file H1 on previous occassions

Can I apply for extension for beyond Aug 07

---- You have been in the US for almost 6 years, you should know by now that extension has to be applied for if you wish to continue staying in the US

How can I reclaim the time spent outside the US, I have spend about two months outside US.

---- At the time of application for extension apply for reclaiming the perid by providing evidence that you were outside of US

---- If your H1 is valid till Aug 07 then why the rush? or is it expiring in Dec. 06. If the latter is correct then what were you doing all these days. Rush up and apply for the extension
